Lamb shanks
Salt and pepper
onions

Ale
Balsamic vinegar
molasses
Dry mustard
Chicken stock
Rutabaga, carrots, celery

Directions:
Directions:
Drizzle with oil and brown at 400 degrees in pan.
Deglaze and put in next seven ingred., simmer and pour over lamb shanks. Cook 1 hr. at 350 degrees, put in 1/2 c. barley and cook another 45 min. Add
rutabaga, carrots and celery, bake 15 min. Sprinkle with thyme.
