2 c. self rising flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. cold butter
1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 tsp. dill weed
1 egg
3/4 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly; stir in the cheese and dill. In a small bowl, beat egg and milk; pour into dry ingredients and stir just until moistened. (Batter will be very thick). Pour into a greased 8 x 4 x 2 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350º for 35 to 40 minutes or until bread tests done. cool in pan 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack.

As a substitute for each cup of selfrising flour, place 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. salt in a measuring cup. Add all-purpose flour to measure 1 cup.
