2 c. 100% Bran in 2 c. boiling Water (set aside)
3 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening, cream well - add
4 Eggs one at a time - add
1 quart butter milk
5 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
5 tsp. soda mix and add
4 c. Kellogs Branflakes, and add

to sugar & shortening Eggs and buttermilk mixture and then the bran and water mixture. Bake on 400º
20 min.
Mix will kepp in frig for 6 Weeks
