1 C. butter (softened)
1/3 C. sugar
1 2/3 C. all-purpose flour
3/4 C. finely ground almonds
1/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 C. powdered sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Combine flour, almonds and salt and gradually add to the creamed mixture. Cover and refrigerate approximately 1 hr. Divide dough into fourths. Roll out each portion into a long rope. Cut into 2" lengths. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets and form each into a crescent. Bake at 325º for 14-16 minutes or until set. Cool for a few minutes. Combine powdered sugar and cinnamon, dip warm cookies in sugar mixture and place on racks to cool.
