1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup boiling water
1 (3 oz.) box cherry Jello
1/2 cup cold water
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour 9 x 13 inch pan.

Prepare and bake cake as directed on package. Cool.

Using a wooden spoon handle,poke holes in cake every 1/2 inch.

Pour boiling water over Jello in bowl. Stir until Jello is dissolved. Stir in cold water. Spoon Jello over cake. Refrigerate 4 hours.

Top with Cool Whip. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
