6 c. cut up rhubarb
1 1/2 c. sugar
Place in 9/13 pan

Topping:
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg

Directions:

Mix together topping and sprinkle over top of rhubarb.
Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

This recipe has been in the family for years. Since everyone has also grown rhubarb it was always around gatherings all summer. It is the best and easiest recipe we have found for a great rhubarb treat.
