Beef Kabobs Recipe

1 1/2 lbs. sirloin steak, 1 inch thick

3/4 c. cooking oil
1/3 c. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. minced onion

3 Tbsp. minced parsley
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/3 c. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. pepper

1 large green pepper cut into 1 inch chunks
small onions
3 small zucchinis cut into 1-inch slices
pineapple cut into chunks
cherry tomatoes


Cut beef in 1-inch pieces (or ask butcher to cut into 1-inch cubes). Combine next 8 ingredients. Mix well. Marinate beef in this mixture for 24-48 hours (refrigerated).

Boil green peppers, onions and squash in water until tender. Drain. Place meat, vegetables, pineapple and cherry tomatoes on skewers. Grill or broil. Serve with rice.

This is one of my favorite meals. My mom always makes it for our family's 4th of July get together. This always goes over big; you might want to make extra!
