1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) butter, softened
1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 1/3 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter with both kids of sugar until well blended. Add the eggs and vanilla. Sift the flour with the salt and baking soda and add to the butter mixture. Mix until the flour is well incorporated. Stir in the rolled oats and nuts. Using a very small ice cream scoop, place mounds of dough on a greased cookie sheet, making sure to leave room for 4-inch cookies. Bake at 350º approximately 12 minutes, or until cookies are lightly and uniformly browned. Lift off the cookie sheets while still warm.
