1 1/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cup margarine, softened
2 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
4 1/4 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 (12oz) package choclolate chips

Heat oven to 375.

In large bowl, beat sugars and margarine until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs; blend well.

In another bowl, stir together flour, salt and soda. Add this slowly to butter mixture and blend well. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets (or we use parchment paper)

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until light golden brown.
