4c peeled and sliced Granny Smith apples
1/4c orange juice
1c sugar
3/4c flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Pinch salt
1/3c margarine, cut up
Cool Whip

Bake @ 375º
( 45-55m)

Butter a 9" glass pie plate. Arrange apples in pie plate, mounding them in center. Pour orange juice over apples.
In bowl combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. With pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; sprinkle over apples. Bake 45-55 minutes, until topping is browned and apples are tender. Serve waarm with Cool Whip.
