11/2 lb. hamburger
1 stick margarine
1 c. flour
6 c.water
1 c.each of carrots, celery and onions
1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 lb. can tomaotes
1 Tbl. accent
1 teas. pepper
2 Tabl. beef flavor base (near bullion in store-refrig. after opening


Brown meat in frying pan.
In large dutch oven or pot, melt margerine. Stir in flour to make a paste. Add water, stir until dissolved. Add meat and all other ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour until vegetables are tender. Stir of ten.
