3 c. sugar
2/3 c milk vitamin D
2/3 c evaporated milk
dash salt
2 heaping T cocoa
1/4 c peanut butter
1/2 c butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first six ingredients in heavy saucepan until it boils, stirring constantly.
After it comes to a boil turn down and cook unstirred until the candy thermometer reads 234º soft ball stage. (Softly boiling)
Remove from heat put pan in sink of cold water until you can put your hand on the bottom of the pan and not get burned. Put the peanut butter and butter into mixture as it is cooling to melt.
Remove from water and beat fudge until it thickens.
Put immediately into a buttered 8 x 8 dish. Let set and cut into squares.
