1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 tsp salt
dash pepper
1 1-pound can green beans, drained
1 can condensed tomato soup

5 medium potatoes, cooked *
1/2 cup warm milk
1 beaten egg
1/2 cup shredded process American cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet, cook meat and onion till meat is lightly browned and onion is tender. Add salt, pepper, drained beans, and soup. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
Mash potatoes while hot; Add mild and egg. Salt and pepper to taste. Spread potatoes over the casserole.
Sprinkle cheese over the casserole.
Bake in 350 oven for 25 - 30 minutes.

* Or prepare 4 servings packaged instant mashed potatoes, reserving the milk but adding an egg. Add just enough milk to the potatoes so they are stiff enough to hold their shape.
