1 c. molasses
1 cube butter
1 tsp. soda
2 1/4 c. ww flour
1 3/4 tsp. baking power
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. ginger

Directions:
Directions:
1.Heat molasses to boiling point
2. Remove from heat, stir in butter and soda
3. Measure flour by dip level, pour method or by sifting
4. Blend remaining ingredients, mix, and chill dough 30 min
5. Heat oven to 350º
6.Roll thin (1/4 in) cut shapes
7.Place on ungreased cookie sheet
8.Bake 5 to 7 minutes
