1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup water
1 16 oz can cream style corn
1 16 oz can sweet corn, drained
1 cup milk
1 cup coarsely crushed saltine crackers
1 cup shredded cheese or velvetta
2 slightly beaten eggs
1 tsp. ground pepper
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Add onion and water in small sauce pan, cook until tender, Drain well pressing out excess liquid.
In large bowl stir together remaining ingredients, stir in cooked onions; pour into grease 2 quart square baking dish. Bake uncovered, in a 325ºF oven for 40-45 mins until center is set. Sprinkle with an extra 1/4 cup shredded cheese and let stand 10 mins. before serving.
