1/2 head cabbage, cut rather fine
1 1/2 c milk
2 T flour
2 T oleo
salt
butter
bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Put cabbage in boiling water and cook until tender
(about 1/2 hour). Drain.

In small saucepan, melt oleo, gradually add flour and salt, slowly add 1 1/2 c milk until it thickens.

Combine white sauce with cabbage in lightly greased casserole dish. Cover with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 350º for 1/2 hour.

I have never liked cabbage and always loved this recipe. It was a favorite for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.
