3 1/4c. sifted flour 1/2tsp. salt 1tsp. soda 1 c.shortening 1 1/2c. sugar 3eggs, well beaten 1 9oz. package mincemeat 1/2 small package of dates.

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, salt and soda, cream shortening. Add eggs, beat until smooth. Add mincemeat, broken in small pieces. Add flous and mix well. Drop by teaspoonful, 2 inches apart on well greased baling sheet. Bake in moderately hot oven 400º for 12 minutes.
