1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sifted confectionery sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter. Add sugar gradually, cream till fluffy. Add unbeaten egg and vanilla. Beat well. Sift together dry ingredients. Blend into creamed mixture. Chill dough. Roll on well floured board. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake 400 for 6 minutes.
