1/2 c. all purpose flour, 1 --4 ounce package chocolate pudding mix, 1/2 tsp.baking powder, 1/4 tsp. salt, 6 tbsp vegetable shortening, 2/3 c. sugar, 2 large eggs, 1/4 c.milk, 1 tsp.vanilla extract, 1/2 c. chopped walnuts, powdered sugar for sprinkling

preheat oven to º350, lightly grease a 9 inch square baking pan, combine the flour, chocolate pudding mix, baking powder,and salt, in large bowl cream the vegetable shortening & sugar. beat in the eggs,beat in the milk & vanilla. gradually blend in dry ingredients, fold in walnuts, spread mixture evenly in pan, bake 25-30minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean,cool on wire rack, sprinkle with powdered sugar on the cooled cookies, cut into large or small bars EAT & ENJOY!!!!!!!!!
