1 gal. apple cider
2 qts. ginger ale
juice of 4 oranges and 2 lemons
3/4 T. brown sugar (to taste!)

Spices:
2 cinnamon sticks
8 whole cloves
4 whole all-spice
1 "nut" of nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Place in kettle and mix, being careful to add brown sugar gradually so as not to oversweeten. Place orange and lemon halves on top of Wassail.

Make a bag of spices in cheesecloth. Put string on bag and float in Wassail. Bring to boil and simmer one hour or longer; serve in Wassail bowl, discarding orange and lemon halves.
