1c. sugar
1/2c. butter (easier to work with if melted or softened)
2 eggs
1 1/4c. mashed bananas (room temperature is best)
4T. buttermilk
2c. flour
1/2tsp. salt
1tsp soda
1C finely chopped walnuts (optional)
12oz mini chocolate chips (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350º

Mix sugar, butter, eggs, banana and buttermilk.
Mix flour, salt and soda.
Add to wet mixture.
Add walnuts and/or chocolate chips, if desired

spoon into greased and floured loaf pan
bake for 60 minutes or until done
