1/2 pint heavy cream
1 tsp confection sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Chill mixing bowl and beaters in freezer before ready to use.

Beat heavy cream until stiff, it will take a while, but you should be able to run a knife through it and it will hold the shape.
Slowly, add sugar, than add vanilla extract. Refrigerate whipped cream or decorated whipped cream items.

Everything must be really cold for this to work, when all is combined, stop mixing. Over mixing will cause this to seperate
