CAKE:
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 can Hershey syrup (1 1/2 cups)
1 cup flour
Pinch salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla

ICING:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1/3 cup canned milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Chopped pecans (optional)

CAKE:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour a 13 x 9 inch pan.

Cream butter with sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add can of Hershey syrup, flour, salt, baking powder, and vanilla. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

ICING:
Combine ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil for 60 seconds. Remove from heat. Add chocolate chips and beat until melted. Pour hot icing over warm cake.
