2 tablespoons melted butter
2 well beaten eggs
Juice of 1 lemon (about 3 tablespoons)
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon paprika
3/4 cup whipped cream (or Cool Whip)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook melted butter, beaten eggs, and lemon juice in the top of a double boiler, stirring constantly, until smooth and thick. Let cool thoroughly. Add pinch of salt, powdered sugar, vanilla, paprika. Fold into whipped cream.

Grandma's recipe recommends these ingredients for a good fruit salad: honey dew melon, plums, peaches, pineapple, oranges, bananas, and seedless grapes.
