3 C. granulated Sugar
4 heaping Tbsp. Cocoa Powder
3 Tbsp. Corn Syrup
1 C. Evaporated Milk
6 Tbsp. Butter
1 C. chopped Pecans
1-1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, mix sugar and cocoa; add corn syrup and milk. Cook over medium heat until a small drop forms a soft ball in cold water (234-240º on a candy thermometer). Remove from heat, stir in butter, pecans, and vanilla. Beat with a mixer or by hand. Pour into a slightly buttered oblong glass dish and cut into squares when cool.
