1 1/2 c. chopped mango
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 small jalapeno, seeded and minced
1 1/2 tsps. chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. sliced green onions
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. fresh lime juice

Directions:

Combine first four ingredients in a medium bowl and set aside. Combine sugar and remaining ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Pour hot mixture over the mango mixture. Stir, cover, and chill. Serve wtih cooked pork or with white fish. Makes 1 3/4 cups.
