1/2 cup mayonnaise (DO NOT use miracle whip)
1 large sour cream
1 pkg KNORR dry vegetable soup mix
1 can chopped water chestnuts
1 pkg frozen chopped spinach- thawed
chives to taste
3 green onions- use the greens and tops- sliced
optional- 1 large round loaf sourdough bread

Directions:
Directions:
combine all in a bowl and mix well- chill several hours for
flavors to blend-
if using the sourdough loaf- cut off top of loaf and scoop out the soft bread inside- saving it and putting
it around the loaf on a plate- fill the bread with the
dip and ENJOY- use the bread you saved to DIP-
if you desire, this is a great dip to just serve with
a variety of crackers instead of the bread
