1 bag Hershey's kisses
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. peanut butter
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
granulated sugar for rolling

Directions:
Remove wrappers from kisses. Beat shortening and peanut butter in large bowl until well blended. Add sugars; beat until fluffy Add egg, milk, and vanilla; beat well. In separate bowl, stir together flour, soda, and salt. Gradually beat into peanut butter mixture. Shape dough into 1" balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes in 375º F oven. Immediately press a kiss into each cookie. Cool on wire rack.
