3 sticks margarine
6 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 lb box powdered sugar
1 lb all-purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
Put three sticks of soft margarine into large bowl. Add 6 whole eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla and 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice. Blend lightly with fork. Now add a 1 lb box of powdered sugar and 1 lb of sifted all purpose flour. Just measure the flour in the empty sugar box. Beat at medium speed for 4 minutes (or by hand until batter is thick and puffy). Pour or spoon into a well greased, floured stem cake pan and bake in pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until top springs back at finger-tip touch.
