4 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. sugar
1 T. butter
1 t. vanilla (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cover rice with salted water and cook until water evaporates. Add
milk to cover, until 4 cups of milk have been added (it keeps
getting absorbed into the rice). This takes about 2 hours! In the
last 15 minutes add 1 egg and 1/3 c sugar (beaten together). It is
best to add a little rice mixture to the egg to warm it before putting
all of the egg mixture in the pan. Add butter at the end. If you want
this to be a dessert, add vanilla and sprinkle with cinnamon.
