1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
16 ozs. sour cream
2 C. sugar
16 oz. coconut, plus some for garnish
8 oz. container of cool whip

Directions:
Directions:
Bake cake according to directions. Bake in 3 layers. (Or split
each of 2 layers.) Mix the sour cream, sugar and coconut.
Reserve 1 cup of this mixture. When cake is cool, spread the
sour cream/coconut/sugar mixture between layers. Fold the
whipped topping into the reserved 1 cup of sour
cream/coconut/sugar mixture. Spread this over top and
sides. If desired, finish with coconut all over top and sides.
Put in airtight container and refrigerate for 3-4 days before
serving.
