5 well beaten eggs
2 glesseles matzo meal (2 1/4 Cups)
Salt and a bissle (little) pepper
small palm of cinnamon ( 1 T.)
1 T fat (vegetable oil for each cup Matzo Meal
Boiling water to cover (4 1/2 Cups)

Directions:

~ Add matzo meal, salt, pepper, cinnamon and fat in a large bowl
~cover with boiling water
~let cool
~pre-heat oven to 500 degrees
~grease cupcake tins
~beat whole eggs and add to mixture
~evenly distribute in cupcake tins
~bake 500 degrees approximately 45 minutes ( if done correctly they will double in size and look like popovers)

Paul and Susan's grandmother, Rose, used these in soup and as a bread substitute on Passover. Granny Rochkie was a superb cook, but didn't use standard measure. She used her hands and a plain drinking glass, so depending on the size of your hands and the size of the glass, getting her results has always been a bit tricky.
