1 lb. round steak or stewing beef
1 T. Crisco
1 medium onion, chopped
2 C water
Diced potatoes
Diced carrots
Salt and Pepper
Biscuit top:
1 C Bisquick
1/2 C milk
Directions:
Directions:
Chop beef into 1/2 " to 1" cubes. Brown in Crisco with S&P and
onion. Add 2 cups of water and simmer for 3/4 hr. Add diced
potatoes and carrots, taste for seasoning and adjust, and boil for
30 minutes. Put in sprayed casserole. Prepare Bisquick top and
spread over the hot meat mixture. Bake in 425 for 15 minutes or
until browned.
