1/2 head cabbage
1 t. salt
water (as needed to cover cabbage)
3 T. Crisco
2 eggs
1/4 C. vinegar
1/2 C. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Shred cabbage into a deep frying pan. Just cover with salted
water. Add the Crisco and cook 25 minutes at a gentle roll. In a
small bowl, beat the 2 eggs, the vinegar and sugar. Stir into the
cabbage and cook until thick and creamy. Serve warm with fried
steak, gravy, and mashed potatoes.
