2 c. sugar
2 c. vodka
2 c. whole washed strawberries or raspberries

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve the sugar in the vodka. Place mixture in a mason jar. Add the berries. Place the lid on tightly and set jar on its side. Give the jar a roll once a week for 6 weeks. After 6 weeks, strain the liquid from the berries into a decanter. The liqueur will be a lovely shade of red with a distinct berry flavor. Serve the berries over ice cream for a elegant dessert.
