3/4 C. shortening
1/4 C. Brer Rabbit Molasses (light)
1 C. sugar
1 egg
2 t. baking soda
2 C. flour
1/2 t. cloves
1/2 t. ginger
1/2 t. salk
1 t. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, molasses, sugar and egg until light and fluffy.
Add dry ingredients and mix into cookie dough. Shape into
walnut size balls, roll in granulated sugar and put on ungreased
baking sheet. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes.
