1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
2 cups shredded CRACKER BARREL Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Vegetable oil for deep-frying

Directions:
Directions:
PLACE butter in large saucepan. Add 1 cup water. Bring to boil.
Add flour and salt. Reduce heat to low; cook mixture forms a
ball, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

ADD eggs, one at a time, stirring until well blended after each
addition. Add cheese; mix well.

HEAT oil in heavy 3-quart saucepan or deep-fryer on medium heat
to 350°F. Carefully add rounded teaspoonfuls of batter, a few
at a time, to hot oil; cook until golden brown, turning once.
Drain on paper towels.
