1 stick margarine
2 c. cornflakes
6-7 c. cabbage, shredded
2 c. onion, chopped
1 can sliced water chestnuts, optional
2 c. cheddar cheese, grated

Sauce:
1 8oz sour cream or 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 can cream of celery soup
1 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Mix margarine and cornflakes. Place 1/2 of cornflake mixture in bottom of 9x13 dish. Spread cabbage over cornflakes and sprinkle with onions and water chestnuts, if desired. Make sauce and pour sauce over cabbage. Top with remaining cornflake mixture. Bake at 350º for 30 - 40 minutes. Remove from oven. top with grated cheese. Allow to melt before serving.
