2 Acorn squash, halved and seeded
2 tablespoons butter
½ cup Grade B Maple Syrup
¼ cup of orange juice
1 tsp of corn starch
1 teaspoon of allspice
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2.Season squash with salt and pepper. Place Acorn squash face down on foil lined baking sheet. 3.Cook on 400 degrees for 35 minutes. 4.Turn acorns meat side up and baste with Glaze (below)

Maple Orange Glaze
1. Add maple syrup, orange juice, allspice, and butter in saucepan.2.Bring to boil and add corn starch mixed with water. 3.Use pastry brush to glaze acorn squash during last 10-15 minutes of baking time.
