1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. softened, unsalted butter
2 egg yolks
1/2 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. or more favorite filling (cheese, prune, poppyseed, apricot, cherry, almond, etc.)
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream together cheese and butter.

2. Add egg yolks and mix well.

3. Add sugar and sifted dry ingredients and blend well.

4. Roll out dough on lightly floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness.

5. Cut dough into 4 inch circles.

6. Place circles on ungreased baking sheets.

7. Top each circle with a tablespoon of desired filling.

8. Bake in a pre-heated 375º oven for 10 to 12 minutes until edges of circles are a very light golden color. Do not overbake.

9. When cool, sift powdered sugar over kolacky to taste and then enjoy.
