2 C Sugar
1 C butter
1 T grated lemon peel
1/4 C lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla
2 Eggs
3 1/4 C Flour
1 tsp salt
1tsp soda
1 tsp cream of tarter
Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, blend first 6 ingredients until smooth. Lightly sppon into measure cop, level off. Stir in flour, salt, soda and cream of tarter. Chill for 1 hr. Preheat oven to 325º. Form dough into 1 inch balls. Roll each in sugar, place 2 in apart on greased cooke sheets. Bake 15-20 mins until light golden brown. Cookies will be soft in the center.
