2 1/2 to 3 lb. fryer, cut-up
1/2 C flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. paprika
1/2 C butter
1 C onions, finely chopped
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 C dry Sherry
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Hungarian paprika, sweet or hot
1/2 C sour cream
6 oz. noodles, cooked
1 Tbsp. butter

Directions:

Wash chicken and pat dry.

Combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika.

Coat chicken with flour mixture.

Melt butter in large skillet and brown chicken.

Remove chicken and set aside

And add onions back to pan and cook until transparent.

Add tomato sauce, Sherry, paprika, salt and chicken.

Cover and simmer 40 minutes until tender.

Drizzle melted butter over noodles and place on serving dish.

Place chicken on noodles.

Blend sour cream into tomato mixture and
heat to warm (do not boil). Pour over chicken.
