6 cups dry potato buds
6 1/2 cups boiling water
2 sticks butter
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoon salt
3/4 cup whipping cream
4 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients EXCEPT the flour. Add dry ingredients to boiling water, cream and butter. Cool in a shallow pan and cover with a damp cloth. Place in the refrigerator overnight. When ready to roll out - mix in the 4 cups flour with your hands.
Make the dough into balls and roll out on a well floured surface. Grill lightly on each side using a hot lefse iron. Makes about 36 pieces.
