Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 to 2 lbs hamburger
2 cans drained sweet peas (mom always used Lesuer peas in the silver can...I just use Wal-Mart brand)
2 cans drained carrots (can use fresh sliced or broken carrots)
2 cans sliced drained potatoes
2 medium sliced onions
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 to 3/4 can water or milk
worcestershire sauce to taste
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown and drain meat first. Layer potatoes, carrots, onions, peas and hamburger in 9x13 casserole dish. Pour mushroom mixture over top. Bake at 350 for about 1 hour, or until fork tender.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Can use this recipe in a Crock Pot for a soup using a little more juice (like what drains off the sweet peas) and can use a little corn starch to thicken.
And for moms....get your children involved by helping to peel carrots and potatoes. It's a great way to include them, with guidance, in the cooking process. One of the first tools in the kitchen we learned how to use was a carrot/potato peeler.
