1 -3oz. package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sifted flour
Filling:
1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of salt
chopped nuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Blend cream cheese and butter together and then stir in flour.
Chill about an hour. Shape into 2 dozen small balls. Place in
small muffin pans (ungreased). Press down on bottom and sides
then fill with filling mixture. For filling: mix ingredients together
and place in shells and sprinkle with a few chopped nuts on top.
Bake at 350º for 25 minutes. Let cool and remove from
pan.
