1 gallon milk
4 cups sugar
12 large eggs
1 cup whipping cream

1 tablespoons vanilla

Directions:
1. Beat eggs. Mix eggs, milk, cream and sugar in a large (not aluminum) pan. Cook over low heat until mixture is thick and coats spoon (about 20-30 minutes). Cool mixture thoroughly in refrigerator.

2. To freeze ice cream. Add vanilla to custard. Add any flavorings desired. Freeze according to manufacturers directions.
