Calder Family Recipe


Mixture #1:
3-4 medium sized ripe avocados, mashed
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Mixture #2:
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 1/2 T. taco seasoning mix

Mixture #3
1/2 c. chopped green onions
2 c. chopped tomatoes
1/2 c. salsa

1 16 oz. can refried beans
1 2.25 oz. can sliced black olives
3 c. cheddar cheese, grated
1 c. jack cheese, grated

Spread refried beans on a large, round serving platter. Spread mixture #1 on top of beans. Next spread mixture #2, followed by mixture #3. Sprinkle olives, then both cheeses. Serve with tortilla chips.
