1 package chocolate cake mix
1 package caramels, unwrapped (14 oz)
1/2 c margarine or butter
2 can sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk) 14 oz
1 c coarsely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350. Preparee cake mix as package directs. Pour 2 c batter into greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan; bkae 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in havy saucepan, over low heat, melt caramels and margarine with sweetened condensed milk, stirring until smooth. Spread evenloy over cake; spread remaining cake batter over caramel mixture. Top with nuts. Return to oven; bake 30-35 minutes longer or until cake springs back when lightly touched. Cool. Garnish as desired.
