Sweet Molasses Cookies Recipe

4 3/4 Cup flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 Cup shortening
1 Cup sugar
2 eggs well beaten
1 Cup molasses
1/3 Cup milk

Mix flour, soda, salt & spices together. Work shortening with spoon or mixer until creamy. Add sugar, eggs & molasses, mix thoroughly. Add flour mixture, alternately with milk.
Drop by teaspoonful or chill to roll.

Bake 400 for 12 minutes
