1 can peas
2 measured cans of whole milk
2 tbsp. corn starch
2 tbsp. margarine
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Place peas and milk in pan and heat to hot but do not let it get to a boil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Separately mix corn starch with water to a thick consistency ( this will thicken your pot of peas and milk). Slowly add this mixture to the peas while stirring until it thickens. Note: If it does not thicken, make more mixture of corn starch and water and add again to the peas. When it is the consistency that you like you will then stir in the margarine. Serve plain or if you desire, you may add a can of drained tuna fish or drained salmon.
